We love to dream that some day summers will be like they used to...long, lazy, and carefree, with those occasional days when you would ask your mom what to do because you were bored...bored?! My days of riding ponies, running through sprinklers, and eating endless popsicles are long gone, though I still make it a priority to eat LOTS of popsicles/ice cream/anything cool and refreshing.
Grown up summers are pretty cool too I guess, and we plan to pack in as much as possible. Plus this is Jeff's last summer of school, so I like to think we will get a little tiny bit closer to those long lost summers of the past.
Our kitchen chalk board now holds our biggest, greatest desires for the next four months. They're pretty simple, not too much to ask right? I promise I'll still work (a little bit) and keep up my "grown up" responsibilities, whatever those are.
What a fun idea. I also want to make macaroons. You will have to post about it when you do! Bored, what's that? ha
