The 17th was our six year anniversary. I can't believe how quickly the time went. On one hand it seems like we just got married, yet on the other hand it seems like we've always been together. I'm so in love with the life we're building together and feel so blessed I get to share it with Jeff.
On Saturday we took our traditional trip to SL and did some shopping, then that evening Diane watched Calvin and we went out on the town. It was one of the most fun dates we've had in a while and we basically spent the whole time laughing. We stopped by Target before getting Calvin (sexy and exciting I know) and it felt like we were 21 and 23 again, pushing each other into things and saying inappropriate things to embarrass each other. It sounds stupid I know, but it was so fun to be us again and remember why we love each other. Plus we got to pick up the little monster, take him home, put him in his new Christmas jammies, and oogle at our little creation.
An older woman stopped me in church on Sunday and told me that she loves to watch Calvin during church. She said she can tell he has real spunk and character. I laughed and wiped the sweat off my face from chasing him around non-stop. Boy was she right. He came out of the womb with the most curious, determined, stubborn, and silly personality. We are having so much fun watching him grow and show off more of his spunk.
He started trying to walk around 8 1/2 months and here we are at 9/12 and he run/walks every where at full speed. His favorite thing to do is tease Hobbes with any object available and try to play keep away. Once Calvin gets laughing he will go on and on until he wears himself out.
