Ah...Hawaii

 Get ready for picture overload.
We had quite the adventure on our week-long trip to Maui. There were many giggles on the beach, plenty of shaved ice, convertible cruising, fish tacos, and contented sighs that only this island paradise could bring.

 Makena Beach

This was one gnarly tree. We spotted it on our drive of the road to Hana. I'm pretty sure Jeff wanted to kill me for making him go. I wanted to kill myself. And so did the native Hawaiian guy who said some nasty words to me for apparently driving too slow...

 Jeff's herbal essences moment

I got rocked by a wave and was awarded this nice little pile of sand in my swimsuit bottoms.

Before our descent of the volcano, which we took going 30 MPH on little bicycles. At first I thought I was going to die, then I accepted my fate and somehow survived.

Another view from the road to hell Hana

The reward of our 3-hour drive. It really was amazing.

Driving this Mustang convertible around Maui was one of the best parts of our trip. Plus when Jeff wore his hat backwards he looked like he was 18 again, which was pretty exciting. I'm such a cougar.
I do like this look better.
 And this one best.

We found this beach by accident and stayed for hours. It had an awesome trail, big black rocks, and a giant turtle we named Eli.

Two tennis matches occurred during our stay. Both ended with us being very sweaty and a little worked up. Luckily we both won once so we'll call it a draw.

And the sunsets...I already miss it.
